summer has turned into fall : a few birthdays have been celebrated : and a new school has been started

Its been to long sense i have written here. maybe i've been busy. or maybe i've been avoiding it.  its one of those things that you put off until you've put it off so long that you cant start again. because where would you start anyways?

i'll start with jenners first day of school.(in which i don't have a picture for because i was to embarrassed to make him stand out in front of the school. of course now i regret that.

he started taproot jamul in the middle of august.  when we went there to spend the day he seemed excited.  ready to carry a backpack and play with kids.  when the time came for his first day he wasn't so excited.  and although he didn't cry (nor did i surprisingly) i could tell he was scared.  it has been several months now that he has been attending 3 days a week and every morning he has an excuse as to why he shouldn't go  {hes sick.  he's tired. his legs cant walk} oh the excuses.  we spend every friday celebrating another week of no tears.  i'm not sure how long i will be celebrating fridays with good boy treats.  but for the time it works.  

soon after school started we took a week off and headed for the beach.  my 33rd birthday was spent on vacation with my sweet little family.

we spent ten days camping. ten days of sandy grin, salty skin, bike rides and beachy naps.  we started off at san elijo + dana point + malibu.  we explored, we rode, we walked, we relaxed. we ate a lot. and drank a little.  remi explored the taste of sand and dirt.  while jenner learned to make sand balls.   

we ended vacation and immediately started planning remi gals 1st birthday.  and although i'm not one to throw an infant a party, it was a good excuse to have a bbq.  an end of the summer fiesta.





she is ONE. she is sassy. she is beautiful and thats probably why she is sassy. she is smart. she is willful and determined. she is independent. she loves dolls and animals. she cant walk yet. she says daddy. she is a good eater. she is tall like her momma. she is sensitive. she is a good sleeper. she loves the mornings. she loves to be outside. she is remi.
