dont let the photos fool you. alot of work goes into these overnighters. laundry, cleaning, packing, grocery shopping, etc.
there are temper trantrums, sicknesses, arguments, alot of mommy's and whys, can we's and why not's... we power thru these obstacles and hope the lack of sleep doesnt make us snap into that mommy we dont want to be.
there are moments of peace and smiles that make it all worth the trouble. the sound of the ocean at night and the coffee that awaits us first thing in the morning help maintain the perspective.
memories our children might not remember... but memories i will forever cherish.
