christmas magic is alive in our house.  with the elf on the shelf, decorations galore and belief in the magic of santa clause. 

i hadn't realized the magic of christmas was  missing until it was alive again. 

this was jenners first year of really understanding santa.  we visited santa as many times as we could.  remi started out just fine with santa. but with each passing day she grew less and less calm. 

christmas morning was full of cheer.  jenner woke up excited to see if santa had really come.  he is leery of santa. unsure how superheros are pretend and santas not.  to clever.

{#4} birthday for the dude

happy birthday to my sweetest boy in the world. 

he is smart. he is silly.  he has the memory of a genius.  he knows right from wrong.  he has my imagination.  he loves superheros.  he can ride a bike.  he can count to 100 (and to ten in spanish). he is super shy.  he is adventurous.  he loves his dad.  he loves his mom infinity million 60.  he tells funny stories.  he can swim. he can spell his name (along with remi, mom & dad).  he can write a J.  he can draw a family portrait. he is liking school more and more. 

 he is smart and sweet and perfect. 

we had is party at peter piper (his choice of course).

masks were made and lots of fun was had. shy guy jenner was embarrassed to have happy birthday sung to him. so in true "I'm just like daddy" fashion we sang to a boy with his ears covered and his eyes averted. 

 i love him with my whole body. not just my heart.
