virgos rock and so does taylor swift

id say taylor swift rocks only slightly more than virgos.

it was FINALLY time to cash in on our christmas... taylor swift was once again coming to SD and we once again HAD to go.  this year we brought along a new fan.

we started the night off with a little corvette diner.

from there we headed downtown to petco park for the concert.  a magical concert, one full of energy only felt at a TS concert.  the entire stadium lite up in tiny wrist twinkle lights. the music radiating your body.  the girls screaming and dressed up in there favorite outfits.  the entire stadium sold out.

when the music started, chills rolled thru my body like tiny raindrops, except that it was a million degrees and raindrops would have been a miracle.  As the first song "welcome to new york" started to play every.single.person sang along and began to light up. the little bracelets that were on our seats magically started to twinkle and that was just the start.  over the next two hours, two hours of singing at the top of our lungs. two hours of standing. two hours of our wrist twinkling in sync with the music along with 40,000 other people. magical.

really just so magical.

soon after this amazing night, was birthday celebration time (thus virgo's rock!)  september hits with a bang.  my birthday, jolene's birthday, O+T birthday.

we headed to the races to celebrate mine and jolene's birthday.  a day kid free to drink adult beverages and yell and eat food.  i requested a seat, jolene requested a table.  we got a table.

jolene is that person. the one you meet and just instantly want to be around.  always down to have a good time.  says it like it is (more and more these days). she lights up a room and will talk to anyone. she was blessed with red hair that just makes her even more special.  she's a mommy, a wife, a friend and to many a hair stylist.  she is there for you when you need her most. otherwise she doesn't answer her phone.  she has completely ditched me at parties and made me fend for myself.  she has drove me home from bars, without a license and pretty much parked the car in the street.  she has shown up in TJ all alone as a "surprise" and has told random strangers to shut the F up. she doesn't pretend to know everything and never forgets a face.

she was the first person i called when i was going into labor.
she is mostly the best person ever.

Virgo's part II to be continued....
